Dr. Gözkan completed her PhD in Developmental Psychology at Clark University in 2012. Her dissertation is on discrepancies in beliefs about family relationships, cohesion, conflict and conflict resolution behavior in adolescent-parent relationships. Dr. Gözkan’s research interests include social and emotional development, psychology of adolescence, adolescent-parent relationships, family relationships in the context of immigration, and theory of psychology.
