Payment

Tuition payments are made during the payment period announced in the academic calendar for the Fall and Spring Semesters as well as the Summer Session, by selecting one of the following methods. Payments cannot be made via money order or EFT.

  • Tuition amounts listed in TL must be paid in TL.
  • When amounts in US Dollars are paid in TL, the indicative foreign exchange buying rate announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye on the previous business day is taken as a basis.
  • Tuition fees can be paid either in full upfront or in installments. The dormitory security deposit, library fees, and processing fees for information and documents are paid upfront only.
  • Tuition fees can be paid annually or per semester. However, once the annual or semester option has been selected, the payment cannot be canceled and the payment method cannot be changed.

For students who will enroll through the international student quota in the 2025–2026 academic year, tuition fees are available here. Current students may view their tuition fees via MyOzU.

UPFRONT PAYMENT

Tuition payments can be made in full upfront during the payment period announced in the academic calendar by selecting one of the following methods.

Upfront Payment at Fibabank Branches: Tuition can be paid at any Fibabank branch before the due date. Payers must indicate that the payment is for the Özyeğin University tuition, and must provide the student’s name, surname and student number. The due amount displayed in the bank’s system will be collected in cash by the bank official. 

Upfront Payment via Fibabank Online or Mobile Banking: Fibabank customers may see their amounts due or make their upfront payments via Fibabank online or mobile banking. To see your amounts due or make your upfront payments directly from your account, please click the “Payments” and “University Payments” tabs, respectively, and then enter your student number.

Upfront Payment via Fibabank Telephone Banking: Fibabank customers may make their upfront payments by calling Fibabank’s telephone banking.

Upfront Payment via Debit or Credit Card: Payments can also be made online by any debit or credit card via the Debit Monitoring and E-Payment page. 

In order to make your payment using your debit or credit card, your card:

  • Must be authorized for virtual POS transactions
  • Must have 3D Secure authentication
  • Must have sufficient limit for online transactions
  • Must be open for international transactions (only applicable to credit cards and debit cards issued by foreign banks)

INSTALLMENT PLANS

Installment Payments via Credit Card

Tuition fee payments can also be made in installments by credit card through the iyzico payment system.  For installment payments by credit card, an interest rate is applied, with the rate varying according to the number of installments selected. Regardless of the issuing bank, installment plans ranging from 2 to 12 installments are available for Bonus, World, Maximum, Axess, Paraf, CardFinans, Kuveyt Sağlam Kart, and Ziraat Combo card groups. The payments are processed through the Iyzico payment system, and bank POS terminals are not used. Therefore, installment campaigns offered by banks for upfront payments are not applicable.

In order to make your payments using your credit cards, your cards:

  • Must be authorized for virtual POS transactions
  • Must have 3D Secure authentication
  • Must have sufficient limit for online transactions
  • Must be open for international transactions (only applicable to credit cards and debit cards issued by foreign banks)

You may complete your payment in installments by selecting the “Pay in Installments”  option on the Debit Monitoring and E-Payment page.

Installment Payments with VakıfBank Vinov Campus:

The installment plan option via Vinov Campus applies to semester tuition payments only. This option cannot be used for annual tuition payments. Vinov Campus offers 4 installments for semester tuition payments. Payments are structured as 1 upfront + 3 installments.


To make your tuition payment online via Vinov Campus, please go to Debt Monitoring and E-Payment page, and enter the student ID number and TR Identification Number to log in the payment screen. In the card selection step, select the "VakıfBank Vinov Campus" option and follow the payment steps to complete the transaction. For payment steps and more information, please click here.

The Vinov account is opened on a semester basis, and is not renewed automatically. To continue to make semester tuition payments via Vinov Campus, the Vinov account must re-activated each semester. To re-activate your Vinov account, please contact Vakıfbank during the tuition payment periods.

Installment Payments via Fibabank Overdraft Account

Installment plans are also applicable to tuition payments via Overdraft Accounts. However, please note that this payment method applies to semester tuition payments only. This option cannot be used for annual tuition payments. In payments via an overdraft account, semester tuition can be paid in 4 installments. Payments are structured as 1 upfront + 3 installments. The overdraft account is opened on a semester basis, and is not renewed automatically. To pay tuition via an overdraft account, payers must open an account at the Özyeğin University branch of Fibabank.  

The overdraft account is opened on a semester basis, and is not renewed automatically. Each semester, the overdraft account must re-activated in order to continue to make the tuition payment via the overdraft account. To re-activate your overdraft account, please contact Fibabank during the tuition payment periods.

Installment plans via Overdraft Account is not applicable to the summer session.

Late Fee

Students who are unable to pay their tuition by the due dates announced in the academic calendar are offered the opportunity to make their late payments together with a late fee by the end of the add-drop period.  A late fee is assessed in TL at a monthly rate of 4.5%*. This rate is applied to the past due balance daily, including holidays. Late fees are added to the outstanding balance and are collected together with the overdue amount.
* The University may revise the rate of late fee for each academic year.

Invoice

Tuition invoices are issued in the name of the student in four equal amounts each semester.

Fall semester invoices are issued in September, October, November and December, while Spring semester invoices are issued in February, March, April, and May.

To see your invoices issued since 2021, please log in the Student Information System (SIS), and go to “Financial Information -> View Invoice” tabs.

Our University is exempt from Corporate Tax.

Refunds

In cases which require refunds in line with the relevant legislations and procedures (i.e. leave of absence), refunds are made so long as the student has no outstanding debts against the University, and has returned all of the items and equipment the University issued for his/her use in good working condition without any damage. Refunds are made back to the original form of payment. No refunds are made for course cancellation during the summer session.
