Abstract:

During the pandemic period and its depth effects such as shortages of raw materials, many companies have lots of difficulties in supply chain management. While some companies increased their profitability, others must shut down or slow down the production with minus profit. The companies which have a strong supply chain add power more in the pandemic condition. For this reason, supply chain management and its first step of working with the right suppliers gain importance incredibly more than ever. In this study, the subject is to determine the best supplier and quotations based on the criteria of supplier selection for CRC (Cold Rolled Coil) steel which is the most important raw material for White Goods Company. 4 approved suppliers evaluated with ANP (Analytic Network Process) method by introducing the steps and evaluated in the conclusion part.

Bio: 

Hüsna Yaşar was born in Ardahan, Turkey. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Dokuz Eylül University in 2004. After graduation, she started to work as Planning Engineer at Vestel Home Appliances in 2005. She started to Master of Science program at Özyeğin University in 2019. She has been working as Global Purchasing Manager at Vestel Home Appliances since April 2016.
